- The Canadian Grand Slam of Baseball Festival transforms Spitz Stadium and area into a full-scale celebration of baseball, community, and summer fun. Alongside elite on-field competition, fans can enjoy a lively festival atmosphere featuring, pancake breakfasts, BBQ's, a stage with live performances from local bands, a lineup of local food trucks, and interactive experiences for all ages. Kids can burn off energy in the bouncy castle zone, while fans of all ages can step up to the radar gun and test their pitch speed. Adults can relax and take in the action in the beer gardens, showcasing a selection of Southern Alberta breweries. Designed to be family-friendly, energetic, and welcoming, the festival brings together sport, entertainment, and community all in one unforgettable experience during one of the biggest baseball events in Western Canada. We are looking for enthusiastic community members to help make this major event a success during the event days! Festival runs from May 21-23, and May 28-30th. If applicants are chosen, they will be notified with their schedule and placement for the festival, based on availability.
