SportFest is coming up on Saturday May 9th at Servus Sports Centre.
Volunteers are needed to help set up on Friday May 8 (various times between 10 am - 8 pm) and tear down May 9 (4pm - 6 pm). Some of those task are physical, for example moving tables and chairs around.
Volunteers are needed to help with the event. Roles include
- Assisting with exhibitor booths and activities 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM Saturday;
- Providing information and directions to guests;
- Bike Rodeo volunteers
- Main-door greeters
- Mascots
- 4 marshals for the various playing surfaces we will have available to secure the area and provide a safe environment for vendors to use. Marshals may also fill in at booths while their owner uses a playing surface (i.e., while the skating club is using the synthetic ice surface, the marshal would cover their information booth if needed);
Volunteering at SportFest is a great way to get involved in the community, meet new people, and have fun! We will provide you with all the training and support you need to make the most of this opportunity.
